Kind of related, but I'm a paramedic/firefighter full time. 2 years ago we went on an "MVA" call, which sound up being a middle-aged guy mowing on an embankment next to a little bridge that went over a creek. The walls of the bridge were about 15-20' off of the ground at the highest point, and sloped down. This guy I guess got too close and slid off the edge, every bit of 10-15'. He landed next to a 3/4" stick sticking out of the ground that, luckily, didn't impale him. The mower (exmark ZTR) landed on him. He was fine other than a dislocated shoulder and broken leg. Be careful out there boys and girls!
