Hand books... yea i have worked for a company that had one ... and being in manegment thier i used to when i took action..making one up is a good practice...i have no employee's at this time but i do have about 3 pages of text in the form of notes on how i want my employees to conduct themselfs,dress,use safty measures,report problems,theift,acedents,things that cause on the spot trermination..etc etc etc .... goo way to convey how you want to operate your company , keep all folks on the same page and covers your ASH........
