I remember them from the late 80's. I used to fish bass tournies and back then a 200 hp was king of the hill. I had a stratos 201 pro with a Johnson GT200 hp engine. There were 2 of the Allison boats that fished the same tournies as I did and I think they were rated for unlimited HP. At that time Mariner had a 220hp engine and man were they fast. My boat would top out at about 72-73 mph and the Allison would blow on by me. If my memory serves me correct, they were tunnell hull boats and they really handled good too. I would guess thoose older boats toped out at near 80 mph then. No telling nowadays with the engines out there.

I'm not much of a fisherman so I have to ask, why would one want or need a fast bass boat much less the worlds fastest? I just have no clue
