Landscape suppliers. If you are looking for the quality major brands, check their websites for dealers. You also have the sponsor of this forum, Frog Lights that will sell you direct.

The last place you want to buy your lighting supplies from is the Home Depot.

Does anyone know of an online wholesaler with good pricing on professional lines or products? You guys have been talking about Cast, so I decided to find the nearest distributor. Well its a mower parts store within 15 minutes of my home. I was expecting an irrigation shop or something similar. But I am going to try their product since I have yet to hear anything negative about the product. I just hope they have reasonable prices.

Cast is reasonable for what you get as far as I have seen. if you PM me with your prices I will check them against my wholesale prices. I dont want to post them in public because there are alot of non contractors surfing this site.
Good lights aint cheap... cheap lights aint good. Im still pretty new at lighting but i been doing more research on it that my wife is happy with lol. Your not going to get a spot light from cast for 12 bucks tho like you will at lowes. Good quality wire costs more than one of them lowes DIY kits. |

To find quality dealers, perhaps you may ask who are the quality manufacturers, then contact them for dealer locations near you.
I prefer to use Cast, Kichler and Focus, as they all offer something a little different to please my clients. I would not be adverse to using Hadco or Unique if they had something in their lines that met my needs. Frog Lights also has some unique fixtures in their line that may suit your purpose. I have not used any of their product, so I am unable to comment either way, but they are a sponsor of this particular forum. Quality and service are more important to me than price, so that is how I have arrived at my suppliers, you may have different criteria. Do you have an Aquarius Irrigation, John Deere Landscape or a Shemin near you. They all have quality low voltage lighting. Kirk |
