lazer z pump whine

Hello, I have a lazer z i think its around a 02 model. The pumps seem to make a fair amount of noise - just when you start to move. They are also very sensitive and jumpy when first moving. Will changing the fluid help??

This is a retired commercial machine from a friend that has taken really good care of it, with regular fuild changes. It has around 1800 hrs on it.

Any thoughts would be great

Pump whine is normal on the Lazers....It's one of their characteristics.

Make sure your RPM's are at FULL when operating. Low RPM operation is bad for the pumps.
