XR-7 deck falling apart !

PJ
You may want to talk with quality control on the hustler assembly line. My new Super Z (15 hours) lost a snap ring (holding one corner of the deck up) last week. I took it back to the dealer...didn't think much about it, just one of those things.....today the right side pulley came off the spindle. Took it back to the dealer again. Replaced the lost bolt and checked the other two. They were also loose but not loose enough to come out yet....
The season is here now...I have commitments and should not have to be concerned about a new $10K mower falling apart. At this moment I'm not happy with my new Hustler...I don't have the time, patience, or money ( $3.00 per gallon gas) to run up & down the road to the dealer every week with this product.
I can assure you if this pattern continues Hustler will have it back SOON!

E-mail me your information along with your serial # and your dealers info.
I will get this looked into, I am sure this not normal and we can actually track this back to the exact day time and person on the production line.

Snap ring

I had the snap ring do the same thing on my 2002 deck too at about the same hours. I think it might be a Friday or Monday thing. Dealer just gave me one off the showroom floor, but I still had to make the 30 mile drive to get it like you did.
