I have looked at them along with all the other brands. We run a JD, Rhino and a Bush Hog. The Bush Whacker is by far the best of them all but naturally will come with a higher price tag. I truly feel that the best machine for the money is Bush Hog. We don't have a BW dealer around anywhere so I didn't consider them when we made our last 20' cutter purchase.

We priced a JD HX 20 and CX 20 both with front and rear chains, dual wing wheels and air plane tires and anti windrow baffles. The HX 20 was $18000 and the CX 20 was $23000. Both were way overpriced. We ended up getting a Bush Hog 2720 with the same options except with deck rings instead of grass baffles for $15,000 and its a lot better machine than the JD's for a lot less money.

travis, thanks for the reply. my dealer here in oklahoma city has the t-180 model which is the 15 foot mower and he has a price of $9600.00 dollars listed in the paper. i was really impressed with how the bush whacker was made. you are right about the john deere being overprice. i am going to look at the rhino and the bush hog next.

the Bush whacker is that the one that is made in Lt Rock Ark ? if it is the one that I am thinking about they had a booth at the Expo 2006 @ Louisville KY I was also impressed byt the way that they are made .We run Rhino 3 pt hook up iy is a 1996 model CY 72 old but still cuts like a champ then we bought a 2005 Rhino TW 96 8ft cutter also a 3 pt hook up only thing I do not like about it is it has a timed gear boxes and have had to replace 2 insulators so far they are pricey for sure , think they were in the $30 -40.00 range we going to run the CT till something major happens and then we will replace it , like the rhino but I think the CY72 is about $3600.00 if you squeeze your dealer down
