Would You Pull the Backflow Preventer?

I think I already know the answer to this but I'll ask you irrigation professionals anyway.

I have several accounts which are about 40 miles from home. They were serviced yesterday. Two of which have irrigation systems. Also yesterday, the weatherman was talking about how warm this week was going to be so I didn't do anything to the irrigation systems, yet. Now tonight he says Friday night is going to get down to 25. This is our first decent "below freezing" night since last winter. Would you drive back out there to pull the backflow preventers? It's obviously really out of my way but that's better than a busted water pipe. Is one night of 25 degrees worthy of shutting the system down? Please, break it to me gently.

The system is still on?

I'd definitely drain them if they were PVB's or RP.s
