First Water Feature

I put in my first water feature at my house last week. I think it looks pretty good. I incorporated a dry creek bed with a bubbling boulder. I know somebody will have some constructive criticism.

I like it except for the one square block you got stuck in there. It detracts from the natural edges of the other stone.

What can be seen in the photo looks good, but can't see the entire feature as most is in deep shade. Can you post a pic showing the entire feature?

I think if you add plants that would help it in my eyes..... I like the concept

What kind of plants? Stays in deep shade most of the time in the back. I'll look into some shade loving perennials.

Nice! looks like you're going to get in some good zen time.
Yes, you need some good small evergreen rock garden shrubs and
some grown covers.
Some impatience would be nice as well.. The landscapers on this
forum can recommend the rock garden plants for you, I'm sure.
You know what we have that I like a lot --painted fern (shade loving)

looks like someone just backed up a dump truck, dumped out the rock, then sprayed it with water. sorry, but just doesnt work

It looks like a like of rocks to you csl -- because you don't
have the vision, thus you can't see it's potential..

I, on the other hand can see it's potential, and properly
landscaped, it's going to be
a work of art .

ill be honest im not a fan..i think besides the layout a different rock choice would work better
