I just got my pest cert. and have applied my first round of fert w.team pro for crabgrass in early april. I have some lawns that look like crap from all the dandelions. I have a backpack sprayer and did use "dissolve" (trimec blend) on some of the smaller lawns with ok results.
My question is this- should I apply a granular fert w/some type of weed control blend (you suggest for me) for my next ap on these bad lawns?
Will the weed control damage ornamentals-periennials-annuals-vegetables in the garden?
Is there a product that is perferred?
I don't have a tank sprayer so if I have to I will just keep plugging with the backpack. Thanks
I don't know how many squares you do, but I really like back-pack sprayers. There was a number of years that's all I used. I put a low volume nozzle on them so I didn't have to refill all the time and went for it.
I don't think there's another method so cheap nor is there a better way to do heavily landscaped areas.
