Weed ID and Treatment

Anyone know what this is or how to kill it? Full rate (and then some) Trimec with sticker does nothing...Red Zone full rate nada. It kinda came out of nowhere last year and is exploding this year. It grows to the top of the grass and will crowd out the turf wherever it is. I will send a cashiers check for $50 to the first person that can ID and prescribe EFFECTIVE treatment.....and no guys, it isn't crabgrass.

I know what it is, but the name is slipping me right now, I'm currently trying to look it up.

It's common in landscape beds and hard to control. My theory is that even after you kill off the existing weed, the seed in the area left behind will still germinate.

One section I've tried to control in a bed has taken me 3 years to get to an acceptable situation. Glyph only (no pre-em by HO request).

Please let me know if you remember the name...I'm wondering if maybe my Barricade app is too late for it and should be done while the turf is fully dormant.

stab away...paleeeze. It gets cut regularly, so I can't really say what maturity looks like. It has tripled in size since my original post. It stays pretty much like in the pics..just taller and larger leaves....I should say the leaves stay in proportion to what they are in the pics (unlike crab leaves that elongate) It will completely crowd out any turf variety. I just sprayed round 2 as a test with both trimec classic and red zone at almost double rate...last app was 2 weeks ago.

Try to leave one section to grow to see what it looks like at maturity.

I'm willing to accept your 50 bucks and then bet it that I've got it right.

It's possible my description is inaccurate. Here is this weed growing in the woods.....all over the place this year. I am seeing some control on test patches that i have sprayed at 10 day intervals with standard 3 way and heavy sticker...seems as White was right about new seeds germinating right behind though. Yesterday I also did a full rate dimension .5 with sticker to see if that would do anything...

Can you get Dismiss in your state? Looking at the info provided by Purdue, sulfentrazone is one of the herbicides that will provide some control.
