Check the Ottawa Citizen Tues Feb 22, 2000.
There is a supreme court case going on right now that will decide whether municipalities can ban garden and lawn pesticides.
Two companies; Chemlawn and Spraytech have challenged the legality of a pesticide ban introduced in 1991 by the town of Hudson, Quebec.
Ottawa, Halifax and Calgary are also considering restricting pesticide use, while the towns of Chelsea and Dundas, Ont, already have.
That is some food for thought.

----------
Dylan
E Ontario

Dylan,
Don't tell me things like that. What I don't know can't hurt me :-). Along a similar line of thought, chemists are working on a commercially viable strain of grass which will only need to be mowed a couple of times a season. Scary stuff.
----------
Dave in S.Ontario
