Well, if they stopped a tru-brown tech, the only reply they would get if they mentioned Imprellis would be. "Who is that?"

Ok saw it at 7 and it was about the spruce issue. It said that there were a lot of trees with issues. They did say that is was marketed as a more environmentally friendly to contractors and that dupont is investigating it. Maybe they will float me $200 for a tree I apparently got with it. I'm usually pretty good about a 2 ft buffer on spruce/pines.

To me, it looks like most of this damage is in areas that have gotten very ample rainfall this spring after application. Is that a safe assumption?

I looked at lawns today that I treated with Imprelis around 3-4 weeks ago and did not see damage yet. Will look at them again in a week or two.

My yard was sprayed in late March and we had a significant amount of rain on and off afterwards. I first started to notice the damage on or around May 17th on one spruce. It was only the top one third of just one tree which can be seen in the link below:

http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSCF6188.jpg

Around May 22nd we started a long period of very warm and dry days that continued until recently. The rest of the trees started to decline during this dry period. A week after the dry period started I began to heavily irrigate my lawn when needed in hopes of slowing the damage. My neighbor on the other hand has not irrigated at all. Both properties have had damage to spruce trees.

I am just a homeowner and am not a specialist in any way so take the following with a grain of salt. The initial difference I can see on both properties is that on the irrigated property (my property) any new growth (much more new growth in general) has curled but most of the older parts of the branches are still green and have managed to survive. This can be seen in the picture below:

http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSCF6202.jpg

On the non irrigated property there is less new growth in general on the tree but the branches that did show new growth started to curl and have completely died with no hope of regrowth.

On my irrigated trees I noticed new buds forming on the portion of the trees that turned brown. Only time will tell if these new buds will survive. Again please take this last part with a grain of salt. There could be other differences causing this discrepancy between the two properties such as application rate of Imprelis.

The rest of the album can be seen here:
