Kubota W5021 push mower

I just bought a Kubota push mower off of Craigslist for $80. Engine & self-propel run fine, but it needs a new starter rope, recoil assembly and blade clutch cable. Was this a good deal, and is there anything special I should know before I use this mower for trim work?

These were never popular mowers but they are very much like a Honda HRC. I believe parts are still available from the Kubota house.
