Replacement Engine for scag

I am having problems finding a replacement engine for a scag 3wheeler it is gear drive and I wanted to fix it up this winter. THe engine model # is 422777 Type # is 112501 Code # is 9406175a This is a Briggs and Stratton Cast Iron Bore( not made any more ) Thanks for any help

They should be easy to find if you are going new. The one I had was a 18 Kohler, but you could go 20 or 22 hp.

Thanks I have no Idea of the model no. because it is on a machine with no tag. I think if I pull the engine and see the motor pattern it will come together.

try small engine warehouse... just got a engine from them for one of my olllld turf tigers.
