Another cool tip you should know about

Sorry guys but when it comes to marketing i get very excited and i have a ton of ways to advertise my company. So here's a good tip for you.
Do you know what a QR code is??
Its abbreviated from Quick Response Code, you probably seen it before many time. A lot of big companies are using it today. But how cool would it be to have it on your business card, or even your truck, trailer etc. You can have people scan it then automatically your webpage shows up on their phone or if you have a facebook your company will pop up, then ask them to like it.
To get a QR code visit QRStuff.com and again its free, it doesn't cost you a penny.
Thanks

I love that! Depending on the area, may want to check it occasionally to make sure some smart a** kid didn't use a sharpie to add to it.

One thing I've found over the last couple of years is that QRs work significantly better when you send the person scanning to a special landing page that offers some form of incentivized reason to make them happy they clicked. Going through the effort, as simple as it may be, to scan a code and only ending up at your www.lawnguy.com site can be disheartening to the visitor.

Next time you're out and about, whether at the grocery store or wherever, start scanning those you find and see how QRs are being utilized. One industry I consult for (wine) is making great use of them, usually via special rebates, tasting notes, pairing suggestions, etc. Make your QR something more useful than just a link to your main domain.

One additional note: Be sure to track your inbound traffic sources (did they arrive via direct typing of your domain name, organic or paid search engine results, or scanning your QR?) so that you can tweak and refine your landing page or overall site.
