Tri-County Lawn & Landscape picture thread

I really enjoy seeing how some of the picture threads have progressed so I decided to start my own. I took somewhat of a hiatus from grounds care when the custom cabinet and furniture market was better as I was backed up with work. So this season I decided to get back in and have done just little advertising seeing where it takes me. Pretty much starting over.

Today, I landed a full service account in a very nice area and as well as a commercial account. Both should be great, will get the pics rolling here soon! I used to worry about my pricing and who charged what blah blah blah, and these days I almost feel good when my bids are rejected or lowballed cause I know that im not losing money. And it feels even better when there accepted. Also looking at a project with some edging and around 40 yards of mulch. I hope to keep the momentum.

Oh yeah, heres a pic of the spring test run of my 48" Hustler wb, Pulled it out of the shop and cut the grass. Really started growing early here this season.

I put new lights on a old trailer last night, New deck boards and paint are in the future however for now I just need to be functional. It has brakes that need to be hooked up also. Since it was wired with a flat plug the trailer brake was just un-hooked. I rewired the plug on the truck side and located the brake controller wire as well as the 12v wire for a 6 way plug. I mounted my brake controller in the truck but stopped there. Wasn't ready to start messing with wires under the dash.

Scored this snow blower for next to nothing ..i mean next to nothing. Dumped out the old gas put new in , cleaned off the spark plug and while it kinda surged while it ran it ran till the gas was out. Seemed to have alright compression. Win ? Maybe




Also got insured today and bid on a 8 duplex site. Got my rough number from google earth and called them back just to make sure I was in the ball park and not wasting my time going over there and the prev guy was half my price exactly. However im pretty sure I sold it to the wife but shes got to talk to hubby ....oh boy.

Went to hook up the brake controller and both my aux power outs at the fuse box are used by the strobe light installed in the truck. And dammed if I can find that orange and blue wire by the firewall......its always something.

Signed up another weekly customer today , small place at my min price but whatever. Cant wait to get cutting this week.
