Adding inc. is redundant. Limited Liability Corporation, why would you need to add Incorporated after Corporation?

I just want to be able to put xxx lawn service, Inc. Its says something to people that you are not just Johnny the neighborhood boy trying to make some summer money for his trip to England this winter. Now, i have done research, and the best type of corp. to evolve into is the LLC, from what i gater. I dont want that label after my name though. If your not in the business world, would you even know what that means?? I probably wouldnt. Ive known since i was little though that INC. after a name means they are a serious business. I hope this clears some confusion up.

I believe it would be a legal issue. If you are a corporation you need to identify yourself as one. If you are a limited liability corp I suspect you need it identify yourself as LLC so people know who they are doing business with. Did you have an attorney set up your LLC? I would ask them, if not find one to ask.

You need to ask a professional about this matter. These so called titles are not just a title. They are tax and liabilty structures which you need to find out which is best suited for your business. They're not their to try and make you look professional. You should be able to do that on your own. |

Randy - Thanks for the opinion. I am aware what it takes to be professional. Call me somewhat of a perfectionist, i pay attention to detail. So this is why i inquire about odd things. Thanks again all!
