Only ride on I've used is a Zspray intermediate. I did a lot of comparison and reading and I still think it's the best built machine on the market. Pretty much all stainless steel, 16 hp B&S Vanguard, infinite adjustability, smooth hydro zero turn, lots of options and configurations to meet your needs, great company to work with. If your just putting a low dollar operator on one and need a point and shoot with no options you could go with another brand and maybe save a dollar.

z-spray/z-plug
I have a z-plug with the spray and spread system and this thing is awesome. Very productive (obliviously). Tuff as nails.

I used PG's for years they are ok machines if you can fix them yourself..
Got a Z jr36 last spring and after a day of using it wondered why I didn't get one years ago! They are built like a tank, great people to deal with and awesome support. The Z saved me over 100 hrs of work compared to my PG and I used the Z to pull an aerator on about 50 lawns

Ia'm for the T3000 goes thru 36in gates holds a hill great and the boom less nozzle works great. A Well made mechine you don't need a trailer.
I have done 40 acre jobs as well as 18 acre jobs down to a couple th sqft lawns. But you can do this with all the ride ons Your in the midwest shouldn't be to hard to demo some. Don't forget the Turfex mechine to your left. Try and find out what works for you good luck. What i can't figure out is why every CO don't have A ride on. Charles Cue |

I agree - I used the push buggy and backpak today along with our utility tractor and 100 gallon pull behind. To be honest - what a joke that is for a set up any more. We use the tractor though on wide open areas that want just broadleaf and with 12 ft booms it works for us.

I love my T-3000, works well for me. Its small enough that it doesn't take up much room at all on the trailer full of mowers.

For smaller lawns (less than 7k sq ft) I would think the Ground Logic Pathfinder would be a more ideal and nimble option. I treat all small resi's over 4k sq ft with my PG Mag, so my next move would probably be the GL for an improved, similar machine. There is still a sweet spot for an articulating machine like the GL.
