How to add trailer brakes?

I just bought a tandem trailer with a 600 gallon sealcoat tank on it, it has no trailer brakes can I add some? Anyone done this before?

Yes its easy. Just get the backing plates and hub assembly, and some wires. Ive done it twice.

Check out dexter.com. the main trail brake pple in the business. As long as your axles have provisions for the backing plates you should be fine
