I use Masterseal AE have no problems with it. Always the same color even from different batches. Residential I use 2lb sand per gallon and and Top Tuff and on Commercial I use Zetec instead of Top Tuff. You wont be disappointed.

Great products !!! Great Staff!!

Thankyou for your reply. Can i ask how much your sealer cost and average coverage? Prices seem high here in ontario. Thinking of switching to sealmaster, but not 100% convinced yet.

Black mac = oil base, optishield = water base, both products don't mix together.

I'd try waiting till the black mac has faded more before putting another type of sealer. I think I went over this subject on one of the threads, regarding spraying black mac over a acrylic sealed driveway = disaster.

for my optishield spraying rig, it's a Wilden 2" air operated - dual diaphragm pump. It has the ability to spray thicker types of sealer, and the ability to spray sealer with sand. (It can tolerate around 4-6 pounds of sand per gallons.)

Ok , thanks JF , thought Optishield was water based but could not find any info on it . Keep us informed how your sealing with Sealmaster products goes this summer . I am real curious about Optishield , want to keep up with the newest products .
