Getting started
Hey everybody I have been visiting the site for a while now, but this is my first time posting. I want to know how everyone got started. How did you learn to landscape? Did you go to school or just started working for someone in the industry and learned as you went? Thanks .

I agree that this is the best course of action. A mix of school and work is ideal. Schooling gives you knowledge of things such as how to run a business and the different types of grass. Working for other companies gives you practical knowledge. By seeing what works and what doesn't by working for a landscaper can be invaluable as well as you may get a mentor for later.
