The CTL isn't any better.

The CTl is missing a strap I admit. I only had two straps when I went to get the rock. Felt like getting one on the rock was a higher priority. Only traveled a short distance. Probably illegal but sometimes you gotta go with what you have.

Otherwise this style strap is more than adequate for these machines. If they stay put during loading/unloading they arent going anywhere during transport.

I would say this, they will stay where they are with a simple little strap driving around. You'll need chains over or through the frame to get the same results in a roll over or front impact. Most accidents happen on the short trips also.

Why not use the factory hitch on the back of the ASV for a tiedown point? Mine had a tiedown on the front to loop a chain through as well, but I can't see that on yours with the angle of the pics.
