What would you do if lawns were outlawed? Eating a bullet is off the table. Could the maintenance industry survive doing weekly service on native landscapes. Or what market would you move in to.

Yes! tree huggers respect weed pullers Just bid these kind of jobs high and explain how you are an expert at weed pulling.

If I were to stay with the industry under such conditions, I'd be doing weed control full time.

If I left the industry because lawns were outlawed, I'd probably go back to one of my previous professions full time.
