That is the direct line to NORAM customer service.

Just curious are you stocking up on parts?

I've got extra cables, belts, and a spindle.

So far, the only thing BOP did not have was the clutch, the BOP website clearly pointed me where to find the replacement directly from NORAM.

The replacement spindle has no manufacturer marking or numbers, so I'm a little concerned about finding one of those in the aftermarket. Worst case, replace all three from another manufacturer to get the correct pulley alignment and you are good to go. all I'm pretty confident, that the cables are the only thing that may not be industry standard and will require fabrication should you need one in the future. If I live long enough to need a deck or front caster, I figure the used price will be so low that buying someone's dead BOP will add a couple years to the life of my fleet.

The NAPA part# for spindle bearings is P62052RSJ

The NAPA part# for caster/sulkey wheel bearing is 7-04292,,,of a rear axel beraing from a Snapper 21" will work.

The NAPA A-80 belt is the best spindle belt for the 44", I know Ive tried them all, and its also the cheapest.

Have you had any success locating "pulleys"?

The spindle bearing for NAPA P62052RSJ comes up as a sealed on both sides bearing. Is this what you are using? If so what kind of life are you getting being you can't grease it? Wondering if it stays cleaner and lasts longer.

By the way NAPA guy told me part number for single sided sealed bearing is P6205RSJ, just drop the 2 out of the number. Of course it costs twice as much being sealed on only one side.

You can get the one with 2 seals and just pop one out with a small screwdriver - that's what I did.

I just leave both seals in, they seem to last a little longer, for me at least.

I don't know why those spidles go through so many bearings, Im thinking its becasuse there so short and cant disappete any heat and cant take any kind of blow.

Seems almost everytime I sharpen blades I change at least 1 bearing. I quit changing top and bottom unless the top is bad also.
