Badboy or ferris

Wanting to know which has better suspension, smoother ride and better cut. I have a badboy now but looking for smoother ride. Also is the yanmar diesel engine as good as the cat? thanks

This is a joke right. Of course you are going to pay more for the ferris but you get what you pay for. Hands down go ferris

No jokes, just asking a question. I have never tried the two, I have had two exmarks and one badboy. All have been good mowers

i've never been on a bad boy, so i can't speak on them. however we've been running dixie choppers for years, and due to recent issues with the dixie choppers. we demo'ed a ferris z2000 with the FI kaw on it and i was very impressed with the ride and the cut was impressive as well. the only thing i didn't like was how it handled tall grass. it was about 10" and we had to slow way down but thats pretty rare with weekly customers. we do cut for a remax dealer that flips houses so it's not uncommon for us cut tall grass. that being said we are about 90% sure we are going to the ferris mowers next year walk behinds and ztrs. probably the z2000 i ask about the diesel and my dealer told me it was too much engine for the "61 frame. I'll take that advice since it will save use thousands just for the cool factor of the diesel engine. i thought they built well had a good warrenty and are priced right this time of year. think about dealer support which dealer is closer and has better service, thats huge when you need your mower to make money, good luck.
