Yep and Just as it comes off patent and gets cheaper.

Nothing New for Florida. Merit has been failing for years now and Bayer won't honor any Guarantees. In Fact I believe They took Sugar Cane Grubs off the label as a controlled species. Welcome to my world with the cost of Aloft SC and Arena.

I will PM you my E mail address. I don't want any PM. That why I let My PM box stay full. This way I can select who I communicate with.

With all the lack of rain this year it's no wonder there are failures. I am seeing them as well.

I don't think it has anything to do with the product. It's about whether it was adequately applied and adequately watered in.

Just like always.

Actually Grub eggs hatch better in wet soil than dry. The eggs take on over 50% of their weight from water as they mature. It has been my experience to have less grubs in dry years and more Grubs in Wet years.

Ric, is correct.

I've been wondering if adults were able to target irrigated lawns in drought areas? Therefor higher egg survival rate.

Just checked with Rutgers, they have seen grub investations in areas without a history of any. No infestations where Merit has been applied.
