|
br600 primer bulb problem
I have to replace the primer bulb on my br600 i have never tried to perform this task and dont want to screw it up. any help will be greatly appreciated thanks

It is very easy just be careful small parts.
I would HIGHLY recommend doing it on a solid surface such as cement or a big piece of wood or even spread a tarp because you lose those screws or the metal plate... 4 screws hold this steel plate through which the bulb goes, I am thinking you'll have to remove one or two orange covers. Remove the screws, replace bulb, re-install.

BigFish is correct, remove the starter, then the shroud and MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT PRIMER BULB, they have two- one has a white backing and one has a black backing. See which one you have. Its really not that hard to do, I just did it this past weekend. Also like BigFish said make sure you get the hoses on the right sides of the primer bulb.

found out the hard way a few months ago of getting the right primer bulb.. stopped at a place on my way and guy i went to sold me one and when got back and tried to install it it wouldn't work. went somewhere else and he gave me the right one.
