Another Hard Freeze Tonite

We are expected to be below freezing by 10 pm and stay below until 9 am while bottoming out to about 20 degrees by sunup...

Is it a waste of time and money to continue overseeding???

IMO yes! You can do it and it could possibly germinate and come but will more then likely just get frozen which will IMO be a waste of your time and your customers money.

New seed--well maybe--not exactly the best time weather wise, but it worked to a degree last year. I hope to get a chance to try it. I think that new grass growth will stop at temps below 32, but germination and growth will continue during sunny days when temps are predicted to be in the 60's . A temp of 59 is predicted tomorrow, (with heavy rain). I have seen hydroseeders work up until November first.
