WEBSITE Building Process

Hello guys,
please help me out with this.

1) buy domain name (from godaddy.com)
2) buy website hosting (from godaddy.com)
3) design website- find a free web design program, or hire someone to design it

is this accurate?
thanks

Hi Sole,

Yes, there a variety of services you can choose though.

Personally, I opt for this process:

Domain Name -- http://www.namecheap.com/
Hosting -- http://hostgator.com/
Website -- http://themeforest.net/

The crappy website on my signature was made with Headway. But I'll be updating that soon.

If you want any advice, let me know. I work on a number of sites.

We used intuit for our site when I re-did it. It is very easy to work with and there are plenty of options. Any questions about it, let me know! Feel free to check out the site. Took me a few hours to get it up and running and then time for getting it how I wanted it and making monthly updates!

One thing to take into consideration is that, while easy, web site builder's are not known for their quality code structure and search engine optimization. In the web sub forum here, we deal with the issues presented by these quite often.

To draw a parallel, anyone can build a retaining wall, but not everyone can build one as it should be done.
