I think you might be right. I think whatever it is, its in the early stage. I took the pics on an iphone. On my phone I can really zoom in. When I did that I did notice hairs growing on the top side of al the leaves.

I hit it with some speedzone yesterday.

Hairy bittercress is real common in zone 7. It has small, white flower's when mature, but if it get's to that stage, it set's seed fast and heavy. It will take over if you let it.

Yeah, now that I think of it, this house had bittercress real bad last year when I picked it up. I'm assuming these that are growing are seeds from last year?

You're right though, a section on the side yard was growing absolutely everywhere. Seems to have just popped up out of nowhere.
