Woohoo! Got My Exam Results
I took the exams for the North Carolina pesticide applicator certification last week and got my scores today. I received a 93 on the Core and a 92 on the Ornamental and Turf. I'm planning to send in my application for the 2013 license in the next few days. It feels good to be able to provide something in addition to mowing, hedge trimming and leaf cleanup for my customers. Now the real learning begins

You are right, now the real learning begins. Take it slow and do things the right way from the beginning. DO NOT cut corners to take on big volume right away, it will bite you in the butt.

Congrats. Got mine in the Spring and started offering the new services to my clients and several signed on right away.

I practiced on my own & family's yard before doing it for hire. Just a suggestion.

Will definitely do that, thanks. I primarily wanted it to help my current customers, so it's not something I'm planning to go hog wild with. It's handy to be able to spray a little Round-up in the problem areas when a customer asks and take better care of the seasonal weed issues. I'm definitely not planning to sell it as a stand-alone service.

Congrats man. Those are great scores! There is a lot to learn in the spray industry. I don't think that you ever stop learning.
