I would image their latest model has only recently been released. Try checking out their website...

The Current models are GREAT, so furthermore there's no need for a NEXT model....

It isn't like cars where there is a new model every fall. Companies will sell the same blower for 5 or 10 years. They don't even announce minor fixes.

Redmax is dead. Long live the King.

And the King is....Husqvarna. I have owned Redmax trimmers, hedgers, and blowers for quite a long while.
I think the Husqvarna is a better value. I just bought a Redmax trimmer. I like it. I don't remember the model. If I knew then what I know now, I'd bought a Husqvarna.
I needed to replace 2 Redmax blowers that were lost/stolen. I went to my old dealer, who dropped Redmax, because he already carried Husqvarna, to see what he had.

I can honestly say, that beyond a doubt, the Husqvarna unit, while technically the same as the Redmax one, is an upgrade.

The most powerful blower on the planet. I bought 2. I got them with pistol triggers instead of the lever.

The 8001 Redmax and the 7150 Redmax that I still have seem like toys compared to these bad boys.

Think Husqvarna instead of Redmax from now on....

Which is weird because I tried the Husky, and went with the Redmax instead, I liked the remax better although the same, it seemed like it had more power idk...

Those blowers look identical to my Redmax 8500. Are they 580s? Isn't the 8500 and the 850 the same machine?

The 8500 and 580 are pretty much the same. The Husky has a slightly bigger fuel tank, snaps instead of screws on the air filter cover and a different harness system which has a padded hip belt and a chest strap.

And that is the difference that places it far and above the Redmax. Ergonomic design and a larger fuel tank.
The straps sold it for me.
