Starting lawn care business (mow, fert, disease control)
I'm considering starting a small (solo at first) lawn care business. I would like to predominately focus on turf care (mowing, fertilizing, pest and disease control) and am wondering if this can be a profitable (30k+/year) endeavor.
I have many years experience landscaping and have a supervisors pesticide/fert license. I really want to get away from the hardscaping side of the industry but am not sure if I can make it with just mowing and lawn care. Any advise, recommendations or criticism is appreciated. |

You will be able to make it with just lawn care but keep in mind if there is a drought your numbers will be down. I don't think you would have a problem grossing 30k in your first year but if you want to net that amount it is going to take you a few years.
