Gold Fish
I purchased about 2 dozen "feeder" 3 years ago and they have now grown to be about 6".....someone told me that fish will only grow to the size of their environment.
Is this true, and how big will they get in a pond that is about 12' x 16' x 3' Oh yea, there are still roughly 24 fish in the pond. Some are new... |

Fish might be "dwarfed" by living in a small pond, but they will never grow bigger than their genetic potential. For most types of goldfish from 6" to maybe a little less than 12" would be expected.
