I gave my guys a week off for the holidays and two weeks pay. I'd originally thought about cash, but my CPA said to run it through the books, so they got Social Security, etc.

My guys are hands down the best paid irrigation employees in town. I give them a few days and a couple hundy. They don't complain because they still made about 10-30k more than their counterparts at other companies.

To sweeten the deal, I might throw in a few SPRINKLER BUDDIES!!!!!

heh I only speak english.. Don't know a lick of spanish and I'll keep it that way. Understandably regions are different but we have our fair share of laborer's too. Never seen them bust out the bible for lunch though.. That's just creepy, you don't have to do that at lunch to prove to others and yourself that you are a good hearted person

I play indoor soccer every wednesday. I would get in a fight every game if I knew what they were saying lol

My main Forman is the assoc. Pastor at his church. Reading the Bible is not creepy, the world would be a better place if everyone did it. I supply each truck with a bible, if the guys in the truck don't want to read it that is fine, but it stays on the dash.

I tell them if they get lost, or need an answer crack the bible open and start reading.

I'm getting the 21- to the 3rd off so 2 weeks and I believe 4 days pay each week . I volunteered to handle all the emergency calls .
