Recommended break-in for Kawasaki FH541V
Getting a new engine - what about break-in?
Have allways tried to take it easy for 5 hours, vary the RPM's and then change oil. Any other suggestions?

The engine was ran at the factory before you bought it with some pretty good oil...
No need to pamper it...Change oil and filter after 8 to 10 hours...and then at the factory suggested intervals.. Do not switch to synthetic oil before 50 hours or the engine will not break in properly..

Naw....you got me all wrong...I can't and wouldn't delete anything anyone ever posted.. One thing I've learned is that you can never get enough information when considering the relevance of something... If you have any other insights on engine breakin procedures...preferably something that will not be included in the new engine box....feel free to elaborate...
