Mole cures

Here is a thread to list the many outrageous home remedy mole chaser/killer cures you have heard of. I'll start, Gummi Bears stuffed into their tunnels. This must rot out their teeth so they starve to death.

I hear and see all kinds of home remedies that supposedly "cure" various pest problems, but it's never anything pertaining to moles. I'd just like to see some of the responses here. I could use a good laugh. Haha

I've heard Juicy Fruit does the trick...

I don't like killing those things, well anything. I think cayenne pepper might work. Squirrels and coons hate it.

I would rather list the things that do work because there's been stories making the round of certain "specialists" in my area charging upwards of $600 and the dang things are still tunneling nice as can be.

About here is when they call me, and they're none too happy.
You get that, normally, a $30 service call should take care of it.
The trick is knowing what to do, but I'm not entirely against the humor aspect.

I feel certain you can start a topic about things that work. I would be happy to expound on practices that help eradicate moles on that post. Do you have an unusual home remedy to list here on mine?

So far we have,
1. gummi bears
2. juicy fruit gum
3. cayenne papper

When I first started out I Caddy Shacked um. Yes, complete with hose and hammer and left over fireworks,LOL That was ok on my and my neighbors lawn until I got caught by a school bus full of kids and a bus driver who were starring at me
Now I call my Fert guy who goes and gets the Restricted Use Worms from JDL. 3 weeks or less and they are gone. That is until the yard next it unloads its next generation. At one time, mole pelts were going for $45 each in Europe, nasty.

4. Treat for grubs.

The moles won't hang around if the food source is removed! You guys really need to do your homework. Chewing gum? Really? Do they chew a whole piece or split it between friends?
