Been on this site for awhile now but never really showed any of our work or equipment pictures. I started the in the business when I was 14 with a pushmower and my neighborhood and then grew from there nothing crazy but its been a fun ride. In 2005 I formed the company when I graduated high school and have grown from there. I work fulltime as a firefighter and do this as a "Part Time" job but its every bit of working two full time jobs.

The company started as just mowing but soon grew into landscape installs, lawn installation which led to small excavation, which eventually grew into tree work etc.. Its amazing the new skills you learn and new jobs you eventually take on as time moves forward. If you told me back in 2005 that I would be 70' up an oak on a rope I would tell you that you were crazy but times have since changed.

These two are of a mud pit of a back yard that a homeowner tried to repair himself with a rented mini excavator.

looks like you have one hell of a company. Congrats. Work looks nice. I hope to break into the tree service using my lawn care as a base for loyal customers and a solid start. If you don't mind me asking how did you get into both?

Well...I hate to say it but I had to grow into where the money is. The tree work is back breaking work but it pays very well. I taught myself a lot of the climbing after going to a basic tree climbing class in CT. It really hooks you, everything that isn't climbable I rent a trailer articulating lift for until the work volume can justify a bucket truck and the expenses that come with it. Started with the tree work last April and have done some excellent technical jobs with a lot of rigging. Right now where only doing removals but eventually would like to grow into pruning and treatment applications down the road. Unfortunalely I put my knee cap on the side of my leg in october playing softball so alot of work has been in a bucket till its fully healed. Luckily plow contracts have been keeping operations flowing for the winter.

Work looks top notch, and theirs nothing like tree work if done right and it looks like you know what you're doing man.
