HP Ultra Stihl in the gray bottle.

It's kept my Stihl stuff running flawlessly.

Amsoil Saber for all handhelds.

I used to use HP Ultra, but it isn't any better (maybe not even quite as good as) than Saber, and Saber costs a LOT less to buy and use.

What mix ratio do you use the Amsoil or the HP Ultra at?

HP Ultra is a 50:1 mix only. Saber can be mixed at 50:1. or anywhere up to 100:1. I personally use it at 80:1 in all my handhelds. There are a lot of threads on it here. In a few of them I posted the cost per quart comparison for HP and Saber. Saber is a lot cheaper. I can buy a quart of it for about $11, while HP runs me about $26 for a 6 pack of 6.4 oz bottles (38.4 oz). That works out to .68 per oz for HP and .34 per oz for Saber. Running it at 80:1 makes it go even further for an even bigger savings in cost.

Saber is full synthetic too just like HP.

Hey Ridin'.... where's the best place to buy Amsoil? I'm gonna try some after I use the Stihl I bought with my last blower. (The dealer doubled the length of the warranty on the blower if I bought a 6 pack of the Stihl oil to go with it.)
Thank ye kindly! Stan

I order right from Amsoil's website. Or you can use the dealer locator. Amsoil only sells through independent dealers(people), no big box stores. Classic pyramid scam...
