Need an idea on estimating price

I have a yard I cut. All I have ever done was cut it. Homeowner asked if I could take a bush/shrub out. Not sure exactly what type the ugly thing is but would be a easy job. Basically i can pull it out by hand(roots and all). looks like a bunch of stems coming out of the ground stands about 4-5ft high 12-15ft round. Ive never bid on a job like this so i need an idea how much everyone else bids something similiar like this for. Thanks!

I agree, even if it is $20 never give your services away. It can start a bad trend with some customers I don't care how long you had them.

Put a chain around it and yank it out with your truck. It won't even take 5 minutes from start to finish. If they have been a good customer for awhile I wouldn't even charge them.

Something that easy I have to agree with Creative that the little bit of money would would get from the job is not worth it but the FREE KARMA and advertising you will get from it may be a lot more.

Jobs like that I always joke with my clients and say something How about a pizza or hoagie and I do it. I have a lot of LONG time clients so they would probably bring me out luch if I showed up on a Saturday or cook me a hamburger on the grill if I stopped by. Just good customer care goes a long way.
