Husqvarna RZ5226 Tire Replacement Question

I recently bought a Husqvarna RZ5426 ZTR mower. One of the drawbacks on this residential mower is the 18" rear tires are not aggressive enough and slip easily. I am thinking of replacing the tires with some 2 ply 22" tires I saw on eBay. Would 2 ply work as the tires are a bargain from what all I can tell by pricing. (New and $20 each)I measured the clearance on the mower and they should fit. Can it harm the hydros in any way? I'll include a link to the tires on eBay. Thanks for any info in advance.

Unfortunately, that's the nature of the beast. More aggressive tires will only increase the amount of turf you tear when the wheels spin. There are many contributing factors but the two primary are -

Small diameter drive tire (large amounts of torque to slip tires)

Moment of inertia - (54" deck hung in front of the drive tires)

There is no practical solution to the issue you're having. I wish I had a solution for you.

Slow down and work on driving technique to control tire spin.
