Another "How much do I bid" question

Got a call today to give a guy price to mow his property. He says it is 6 acres. I'm in South East PA. There's a pic attached. I have my thoughts on what I'll ask, just want to see what you guys would charge as a double check. It's a nice property and I'd really like to get it. It's a referral from one of my current customers. It's on a hill sloping upwards towards the house, not terribly steep but enough to add a few extra bucks.

Unless there is something I can't see in the picture, I'd be happy with $275, and would probably do it for $250 if it isn't rough terrain.

Same here, terrain looks flat with little trimming.

That looks huge. I couldn't begin to help you price it but I'm dying to find out what the winning bid is.

I'd measure it out myself to make sure, walk the property to check on level ness, how is the current condition of beds and turf. At 6 acres and level that's about 2 hrs mowing with 1 60" ztr on a single pass.

I've found the nicer the property the more you need to charge. Someone with a property that size in pristine shape is going to want it to stay that way. If its full of weeds then you might be able to mow blow go.

Often on larger properties I break my estimate up and show a price for mow blow go and a bed maintenance price so the person is not shell shocked. Many times they think....for a little bit more i can have my beds maintained.
