GIE Expo 2013

I believe my wife and I are going this year. Have a few questions.

What day is the best to go, or does it take both days to see it all?

What hotels are the most convenient to book?

Are the seminars worth it?

Do you need to rent a car or are the shuttles convenient?

Thx

You will need both days. Make Allan of what you want to see before you go and then wander around after that. I found the demos helpful. I drove there so couldn't say about the shuttles

I drove as well, but I think a taxi would suffice. The hotels commonly used are on the website with maps showing how close they are. It definitely takes both days if you do the seminars. I did the HNA last year which would be a help if you dont know much about hardscapes. I wasnt able to hit up any other seminars though.

We will be going on Thursday to the show. Plan to fly down from here, and my wife has Hertz points so a rental car is free. Staying at a hotel not on the GIE list since we have a car, and much cheaper too.

Looks like I'll probably be going down there. I'm still trying to decide if I want to drive or fly down.

If you fly from MSP - flights on American from there are going for lower $200's per. That is a good price.

Who else is going? Or is everyone frustrated with their weather and saying 'screw it'
