Quick question.....its been bothering me lol

So, our company uniforms consist of Kahki colored carhartt work pants (not cheap for 5 people), and hi viz yellow shirts, and kakhi shirts, with our logo printed in all green. i see alot of companys use pants that are green and navy colored. Should I go to green pants, since my logo is green and black, or is the khaki look ok in your opinion. ALL IN ALL, GREEN OR KAHKI PANTS.

Sorry it sounds stupid, just thought id ask. Ill post pics.

You may not care since you don't have to be the one out in the sun sweating but lighter colors are cooler, that's the real reason for seeing the color combinations I see, they only care about what it looks like while they sit in their air conditioned office completely unaware how hot dark colors get under the sun...

I got news, nobody cares except the worker who is dying while wearing dark colors under the 100 degree sun.

Those color shirts are going to get hot under the sun, I'd get a light blue.

For the workers I'd go with a darker color, just to keep them cleaner. Khaki gets dirty real easy. For the managers / estimators I'd stay with Khakis and also make sure you're wearing a colored shirt.

In our company there is one dress code for workers and another for management/estimators. For one, it's more professional that way. For two, I have always believed that the client or anyone walking or driving by should be able to tell, just by looking, who the project manager is on any given jobsite. The more professional and clean look of the project manager sets him apart from the rest of the crew. It also helps create a little more respect from the workers too.

I agree, driving by and seeing a crew working in a uniform says positive things about the company. Yes, khaki pants look better and will be cooler than green. Dark green was one of the colors that did "very well" when they were testing the early home made solar collectors, since it absorbs certain frequencies. Don't ignore the outdoor market, the modern materials are tough. The new nylon type pants are breezy in the Florida heat.
I'm not sure if it would make sense or not, but does anyone use the pants that zip off into shorts? This is one company that deals with closeouts, campmor.com is another.

We are currently working on getting uniforms. We are pondering the moisture wicking style polos like the golf type shirts. They are kinda expensive but I'm trying to have the image of a larger company although we are not a large company. It seams all the competition (that I have noticed) are wearing old torn shirts or wife beaters and a bandana! So we just want to put forth an image of professionalism. but royal blue polos with khaki pants and or shorts are the colors we are going with it will go with our logos on the truck.
and it will match my new Dixon mower being purchased this fall!

I prefer khaki pant also. My shirts are black with orange writing but they are moist wicking shirts so the heat isn't bad. Changing to gray next year.
