Dodge Dakota

Anyone using an older Dakota? I am looking at a 2003, Ext Cab, 2WD, with the 3.9 V-6, and automatic. Any issues that I might watch out for?

Thanks!

ExMark Metro 48
ExMark Commercial 30
Ford F250
Ariens edger.

the bottom list should maybe get shorter, while the top gets longer, but I know there will always be more stuff!

I've got an 01 Dakota with the 4.7 v8 and it tows my 3000 lb 14 foot open trailer daily with no problems. I've had some front end problems but that's expected after plowing for a few years.

up till this year i had been running with a dakota. '05 with the 4.7 and never had any problems towing or day to day driving. however in the fall of each year we would also take my dads dakota '02 with the 3.9 in it to haul second trailer for leaves. i'm just saying i wouldn't want to haul my trailer with mowers daily with it. i don't know what your expectations are or what you plan on towing. there are advantages like manueverability and parking but seriously lacks in power and performance
