Looking for mowers. I need help!

Im getting back into the lawn care game and am mower shopping. Not sure If I want to buy used or new. I had a 2008 exmark laser z 52 inch back when I had my first business. I have no complaints about it other than comfort. I went and looked at new exmarks today and looks like they have helped that area a lot. I also saw the exmark vantage which looked AWESOME. Does anyone on here use that as their main mower? Thoughts on that?

What other brands do you suggest? Dixie chopper? Are those good mowers?

Personally I prefer John Deere. My 920m I bought a month ago is an absolute dream. Cut quality 9/10, striping 9/10, power 8/10, comfort 7/10. Great machine and I got mine out the door for 8300 new. 60" deck.

When I was looking at exmarks they had deere as well. The sales guy didn't bad mouth them, but he said he sells a lot more exmark. They are a bit cheaper. That may be an option for me.

Exmark does a lot more zt marketing because that is their primary product line. Deere is a good mower, just like Exmark. Demo them both and you can decide.
Just because they sell more Exmarks doesn't translate into a better product.

They are great machines. Only thing ex mark has over them IMO is center of gravity

How well do they cut / stripe compared to an exmark? Reliability? Quality? I know nothing about them. I've done research but I'm looking for actual users reviews on them

Toro

I'm not sure what size of mower you are looking @ but the 3000 or 5000 series Toro Zmasters are great. The 2000s are a little light for commercial without cast iron spindles. The adjustable baffle is great on the Turboforce decks are great.

I just post some Photos ON this thread http://www.lawnsite.com/showthread.php?t=413427

If they didn't cut well I wouldn't be owning them. Compare to Exmark Ones I seen Don't cut well eveybody around here always double cut I never double cut No need for it. Like said I have 10 I run somewhere each week
The years I have are 88,92,95,01,01,05,06,10,11,13 Sizes are 3-72'' 6-60'' 1-50'' which 50'' is my spray rig it doesn't mow anymore
My biggest lawn is 70acres
No major problems with.
Quality One of a kind Built well The ride is nice
