granite pavers installation

hello

Just wondering what you suggestions everybody has for granite pavers installations.

i know they are strong than concrete so i am wondering what thickness should be used for dry laid on gravel and sand base.

the sizes will range from 6x12 6x8 12x12

for patios i think 3/4 inch is fine and the sizes will be larger then this. but for driveways with dry lay installation i am thinking that 1.5 inches will be enough. What do you guys think do you think 1 inch or 1.5 will be enough for the sizes mentioned above for residential driveway?

Any suggestions on the granite pavers? and installation of them.
