Getting Started

I am considering starting a lawn care business and was hoping some of the professionals could give me some advice. I am a very hard working self starter who has the Time and money to invest. I also already know a little about personal business from my current rental property business (7 houses).

What type of Mowers should I start with?

What Type of accounts should I go after at first? I assume I need to build some experience before going after the big ones.

What' the best method for attracting customers?

Do I need a Partner or at least a helper?

How much start of capital should I be prepared to spend.

Any advice from the pros that could help me avoid the typical startup mistakes would be greatly appreciated.

This forum is about all your questions. Your questions are fully what this site is about. There is no way to answer those questions without writing a book. So many variables, opinions, etc to gain experience from. Do a search with those topics.

Put forth some effort doing your own research. You will learn much more from it. You will get many opinions and lots of experience from it. Then you can ask specific questions.
