tell him you charge hourly, and set yourself a wage to charge hourly, i would charge $45 an hr. also, CAPS on the forum means yelling
i could careless bout caps, but i know somepeople do.

I personally suggest giving quote for the job rather than telling the customer your hourly rate. Just estimate how long it will take and multiply that by the hourly rate and give them the price. We never tell customers hourly rates--they hear $60 or whatever and think it is outrageous and then you have to explain to them why the rate is what it is--expenses, insurance, etc...
Is the dirt for a new flowerbed or is it compost for an existing flowerbed?
